Yvonne Tuchscher, owner of Resplendent Day Spa -

Yvonne has spent 22 years practicing and sharing her specialized knowledge of ancient and modern scientific therapies for beauty, health, and healing.  A licensed massage therapist and cosmetologist, Yvonne has completed over 1000 hours of specialized training including Swedish/deep tissue massage, sports, and neuromuscular therapy.  She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.  She graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Studies in 1994 and John Perry’s Beauty College in 1978.

Yvonne has been practicing Arvigo Therapy Since 2008. She offers this therapy to both woman and men. She has completed 50 case studies which is required for certification in October 2010 and has also completed Advanced Training ( supporting Pregnancy from Preconception to Post Pardum) October 2011.

She has completed over 100 hours of advanced studies each year, learning the ancient secrets of healing and rejuvenation that are an essential part of her practice.  She works closely with medical professionals to develop a holistic alternative for healing.  Yvonne founded Resplendent Day Spa in 1994 to fulfill her dream to create a “whole person” retreat where people can escape the rigors of daily life and realize their full potential.  Her passion for her art and genuine commitment to the well being of her clients makes one’s visit to her spa a truly resplendent experience.

Millie Jones - Massage Therapist

Millie Jones has been pursuing massage as a pastime since her junior year of high school when she met two new counselors who came to her church youth group at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Long Beach, California.  The two counselors consisted of a married couple whose formal jobs were in Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy.  The counseling team would frequently share simple massage techniques with the group before and after the weekly group meetings.  This encounter has created a love and fascination with the art of massage that has stayed with Millie over the years.  Throughout her life Millie has experienced massage and bodywork by receiving it regularly throughout her 25-year career with the United States Postal Service.

She first graduated from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Culver City, California in 2003.  She loves practicing massage and seeing the resulting physical and emotional responses of her clients.  Millie has been a licensed, insured, practicing massage therapist for six years and her education in massage and bodywork is consistently ongoing as she considers it to be a fantastic life adventure.  She looks forward to working with you at Resplendent Day Spa and sharing your personal journey to health and wellness of body, mind and spirit through massage and bodywork.

Sheila Macon - Microdermabrasion & Diamond Dermabrasion

Sheila Macon was an I.T. Telecommunications professional for most of her working career. In 1998 she switched careers to become a licensed Skin Care Therapist and Cosmetologist. Over the past 10 years Sheila has not only practice but continued her training and certifications by attending classes at The Conservatory Of Esthetics, Dectro International, The International Dermal Institute, Jan Marini Skin Research and W. Schumann European Skin Care.

Coming from a detailed oriented back ground, knowledge of electrical modalities and up to date state of the art techniques are a must. Sheila's dedication to keeping up with healthier alternative treatments shows her passion for the industry. Her goal is to be an asset to anyone who crosses her path. Focus on educating her clients, sharing the knowledge, and provide a skilled quality service.
