A twist on conventional treatment
Our Long Beach, California, med spa provides many options for chemical peels. These peels are incredibly versatile; some formulations penetrate deeply to dramatically improve the appearance of severe wrinkles and other signs of aging in just one treatment session. Other peels are “lighter” or “lunchtime treatments.” They get results but don’t penetrate as deeply. So, you can still enjoy improvements to signs of sun damage or aging. There is no time commitment or physical demands for healing afterward, though repeat treatments are generally recommended. The science behind the treatment
BioRePeelCl3® uses natural ingredients to gently exfoliate, moisturize, and stimulate skin renewal in one treatment. It is considered a “bio-stimulator,” which means the formulation elevates the process of fresh skin cells coming to the surface (turnover) while promoting the production of new collagen and elastin. This process overall softens fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and visible pores for an improved texture. It also addresses dark spots and other types of discoloration (rosacea, blemishes, melasma) for enhanced skin tone. Lastly, this unique combination of TCA, AHA, BHA, polyhydroxy acids, vitamins, amino acids, and other antioxidants helps repair the skin, enhances its overall quality and vitality, and counters the effects of sun damage, UV radiation, and pollutants.

The process
A fundamental tenet of Resplendent Day Spa is our focus on personalized treatment. You may choose either the BioRePeelCl3® formulation on its own or seek a combination treatment. After the peel process, one of our talented providers may incorporate microneedling with mesotherapy into treatment. These additional age-defying treatments support deep and lasting rejuvenation. Since many imperfections can be addressed by stimulating firming collagen and springy elastin deep within the skin, this process has no downtime. Improvements can be seen instantly and only improve as time goes on, and the effects of these healing and renewal processes are revealed.
